如何问技术问题
很多人卡住,是因为觉得“我不懂,问了会不会很外行”。其实好的提问往往来自非专家视角,因为专家容易默认很多前提。你可以站在这几个角色去问:
- 用户(这个东西真的好用吗?)
- 业务(真的解决问题吗?)
- 风险控制(会不会翻车?)
- 维护者(以后谁来背锅?)
- Not asking questions does not mean understanding — it often means accepting hidden ambiguity.
- The goal is not to show expertise, but to surface risks, clarify assumptions, and test system robustness.
- Good questions focus on structure, not implementation details.
Tricks
3-second decision rule:
- Could misunderstanding this cause issues later?
- If yes → ask immediately
- Use safe phrasing
- “Just to confirm…”
- “I may be misunderstanding…”
- “Let me confirm my understanding…”
Universal Question Formula
Use this when stuck:
Acknowledge → Scenario → Risk
Example: “This design looks solid. If Redis fails, how do we ensure consistency?”
When You Don’t Understand (Safe Strategy)
- Rephrase “Let me confirm my understanding: A → B → C, correct?”
- Safe admission “I might be missing context here—can you clarify this part?”
- Extreme case “What happens if this assumption doesn’t hold?”

Rephrasing what you heard to confirm understanding.
1. Goal / Problem Clarity (目标确认)
Use when things feel complex or unclear
Checks: Are we solving the right problem?
- “What is the core problem this solves?”
- “What happens if we remove this component?”
- “这个方案最核心要解决的问题是 X,对吗?”
2. Assumptions & Weak Points (关键假设)
Use to uncover hidden dependencies
Checks: What could silently fail?
- “What assumptions must hold for this to work?”
- “Which assumption is most likely to break?”
- “这个方案成立的前提是哪些?有没有最脆弱的一条?”
3. Trade-offs / Alternatives (方案选择)
Use to evaluate design maturity
Checks: Was this thoughtfully designed or guessed?
- “What alternatives were considered?”
- “Why was this approach chosen over others?”
- “What is the biggest trade-off here?” “为什么选 A 而不是 B?有没有权衡过?”
4. Edge Cases / Failures (风险边界)
Most important bucket in real systems
Checks: System robustness
- “What happens if upstream is slow or down?”
- “What breaks if traffic increases 10x?”
- “Any scenario where this design fails completely?”
- “这个方案在什么情况下会失败?有没有兜底?”
5. Observability / Maintenance (成本与影响)
Often forgotten, very high value
Checks: Can this survive real life?
- “How do we detect issues in production?”
- “How do we debug this if it breaks?”
- “Can a new engineer understand this easily?”
- “对性能 / 成本 / 维护的影响大概是什么量级?”
